Born May 6, 1992 in Edmonton, Alberta, Brendan moved to Tsawwassen, British Columbia, after moving there with his family at the age of 12, Brendan’s Father had recently accepted a job as the strength and conditioning coach for the Vancouver Giants. While small in height, Brendan plays a very physical game. Having grown up knowing the importance of Strength and Conditioning, Brendan is one of the hardest working players on and off the ice.
Brendan grew up playing in the South Delta Minor Hockey Association. During the 2007 WHL Bantam Draft, Brendan was drafted in the 9th round by the Vancouver Giants, a team he was already familiar with. The next four seasons would see Brendan emerge as the Giants All time leader in both goals and points. During the 2010 NHL Draft, Brendan was selected 147th overall by the Montreal Canadians. He is currently a key member of their team and hopes to help bring another Stanley Cup to the City of Montreal.
